Our 3 Core Pillars:
1. Funding Research: Supporting Breakthroughs
2. Awarding Scholarships: Empowering Education
3. Raising Awareness: Fostering Understanding
Almost all of what we raise will be used to fund research and support our scientific allies in finding breakthroughs that could/can improve the lives of those affected with the disorder. This means that those funds will be donated to The Bow Foundation, another non-profit that has more well-established ties to the scientific community and/or those conducting meaningful research. With the resources pooled together, we believe we can affect the most change and make the biggest impact.
Please check out The Bow Foundation as well, for more information.
We will be providing two scholarships every year. Scholarships will equate to 1% each (total 2%) of the total funds raised from that year (up to $1000 each = $2000 total), unless our Board of Directors votes to give more in a given year. Who is eligible for the scholarships and how are the students chosen?
CHECK BACK SOON FOR FURTHER INFORMATION ON APPLYING FOR OUR SCHOLARSHIPS AND A TIMELINE OF THE ENTIRE PROCESS.
A small percentage of what is donated will be put towards fostering understanding and educating the larger public about what GNAO1-Neurodevelopmental Disorders is. Educational initiatives will be derived from and carried out by our Board of Directors.
We are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. Our tax ID number is 99-1503867.
